Click on the forum link available above and then you can access the topics by choosing "Guest Access." However you can register if you wish so that you can always have a regular identity. You can register at any time. You will be asked for a name and email when you decide to reply or add a topic. If you do not include a name and an email you will not be allowed to post. 2. How do I register? You register by clicking on the "register" link on the top of the main page. You must have a name, choose a password and an email. Each time you return after registering you can simply login. If you wish to register please go to: fidencio@yahoogroups.com 3. How do I begin a new topic discussion? To begin a new topic discussion click on the "Add Discussion" icon. Fill out the form and submit. You're new topic will be posted immediately. 4. How do I view the messages in the topics? Simply click on the topic that you want to see in the main page to access the replies for that topic. 5. How do I reply to a message? Once you have the message you want to reply to, click on the "Reply" icon next to the message. Fill out the form and submit. It will be posted immediately. 6. I keep seeing the same postings, but I can't see mine. If you just posted, it should be immediately available, but if not, first make sure you are in the correct topic area that you posted and hit the re-load button located at the top of your browser toolbar. You must hit the re-load button to view newer messages that have just been posted. 7. What if I made a mistake and I don't want my message or topic posted anymore? Once you post or submit a message to the forum, you have approximately 15 minutes to change your mind or make corrections. You must no exit your browser or disconnect from the Internet during this time. If you do, you will not be able to make corrections within those fifteen minutes. After the fifteen minutes have passed, you cannot remove or change your own topic or message. You must contact the web manager of the El Niņo Fidencio Research Project by emailing: fidencio@yahoogroups.com with your request. Nonetheless, you must remember that the creators'/site managers' decisions are final on what is posted and removed from the forum. (Please read the disclaimer if you have not done so.) 8. What if I still can't post or view the forum? Occasionally, the web managers do have technical problems that are beyond their control. In this case, you must, if possible, contact the web manager by emailing: fidencio@yahoogroups.com. Please describe the problem you encountered, and the date and the time, and we will see if we can solve the problem as soon as possible. 9.
