We can see here El Niño Fidencio with his leopard. Many folks took relatives who were mentally ill to El Niño. Fidencio had
two corrals at a nearby place called "La Dicha de la Santa Cruz."Fidencio placed people with leprosy in one corral and treated them there. He would place the mentally ill in the other corral and would have his assistants bring the mentally ill to a room in his house. He would go into the room with a leopard and after a few moments, one by one, the mentally ill would come out of the room healed.

El Niño Fidencio with his puppy. Under his
puppy, in his hand, Fidencio is holding his
"cuerda." The cuerda is the rope around
Fidencio's waist. The rope pocesses sacred
power to protect the person wearing the
rope.
It is ritually empowered by twisting the
strands while chanting invocation and
saying a prayer. The ends of the rope are
called "motas" and are believed to possess
the power to cleanse others of evil and
believe to possess the power to heal.

This is a picture of El Niño Guadalupano. A follower of Fidencio had the photo of Fidencio made in replica of the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe not only because of the love and respect for the Virgin of Guadalupe. But was also trying to convey the message that Fidencio, like the Virgin Mary, was also favored by the Lord and sent to this earth to carry out a mission from God.

El Niño Fidencio in his garden. Fidencio's
garden was situated in the compound of the
house. In this garden area, he had "peroles"
or large tanks where he would fill them with
water and boil certain plants; governadora,
ojase, amargosa, also known as
yerba
del pollo, yucca leaves, a veriety of
cactus, lechuguilla, gordolobo, arnica and
other native plants to the region to make "la
medicina," the medicine to cure the ills of
the folks that would come to him for
healing.

Depiction of the spirit of El Niño at the Pirul tree with his foot over a demon spirit. This photo is a result of a phenomenon of someone taking photos in Espinazo. The photo was reproduced as a spiritual message being that Fidencio's good spirit had power over satan and all his evil.

The image of Jesus seems to speak to
Fidencio.Fidencio saw Jesus as his father in
heaven.
It has been said, Fidencio would tell
those around him he would lay his body
down to rest and his spirit would leave his
body to go to speak to his father in the
heavens. His pirate would then come back
into his body and he would wake up. He
would do this, (phenomenon), for a few
minutes at a time but not very often.
Fidencio would always say that there would
be many Niño Fidencios but to be careful
because there would just be a true one.

El Niño admiring the horizon. Fidencio loved to go horseback riding. Here, he is wearing horse riding boots and is somewhere in the countryside near spinazo. He had several horses and some were named as follows; El Pensamiento, El Rayo, El Lucero, and El Palomo.

Aurorita Prado Quintanilla was an adopted
niece to the late Mrs. Lilia Quintanilla. Mrs.
Quintanilla was a channeler of the spirit of
Niño Fidencio. Aurorita passed on at the age
of 8 years. Later the spirit of La Nina
Aurorita began to manifest through her aunt
Lilia who would go into a spiritual trans. It is
believed by many that urorita's spirit
appears to folks. There is more information
on Aurorita in the forum.

El Niño posing in front of mirror. Fidencio was a spiritual being who had many ways of communicating with those who believe in his gift from God to intercede for those who look at him in a spiritual way.His message to us here is as we see him in the reflection in the mirror for us to see that he is Fidencio and only Fidencio, as Fidencio would always say and says in the spirit, he is only a servant of God.

Portrait of Fidencio. In this portrait, Fidencio
is wearing a crucifix around his neck. It is a
custom to wear such relics as a symbol of
devotion and as a reminder that Jesus died on
the cross for our alvation. It is also used as an
amulet for protection from evil as the belief that
satan is afraid of the cross,

El Niño with his dog. This dog lovingly cuddles in Fidencio's arms.

Fidencio carrying the cross. Fidencio once
wrote about the cross; "this is how to love God,
by embracing the cross and to never falter in
life."
Here, Fidencio on his knees carries the
cross as a spiritual sacrifice to seek favor from
the Lord.
