July 2002:
On July 19th, 2002 Dr. Antonio Zavaleta, Lupita Gomez, Carmelita Ramos, Jose Duarte, Raquel Barrera, Sylvestre, and
local folkhealer, Alberto Salinas, Jr. traveled to Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico and visited the impressive and extensive archives
of the Fototeca Nacional de INAH (Insituto Nacional de Antropologia e Historia). The purpose of the visit was to search
through the electronic database archive of the Casasola collection housed at the Fototeca to find photos of El Nino Fidencio.
Our search was very successful in finding numerous photos, most of which were of Nino Fidencio's final years in Espinazo.
There were several photos that had not been seen in their entirety for the past 60 years.

We are very grateful and thankful for the help and warm welcome from Juan Carlos Valdez, Subdirector of the fototeca and
his entire staff.
