December 1-9, 1998: Cipriana "Panita" Zapata de Robles, La Materia Mayor, was in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas
for the anniversary celebrations and altar blessings for several local materias.

December 5: Maria Tamayo, materia de Brownsville, Texas hosted the anniversary and blessing of her temple, Panita was
in attendance.

December 6: Maria Elena Gonzalez, materia de Mission, Texas hosted the anniversary and blessing of her temple, Panita
was in attendance.

December 11-12: Panita will host a celebration for La Virgen de Guadalupe in Espinazo.

*Don't forget during the month of December there are numerous groups who perform traditional Posadas in Espinazo.*

In early 1999, SOCIOTAM, a journal of the Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas will publish an article on El Niño Fidencio
in English and Spanish.
